We’ve been spotting people on the streets of New York for over a year now and, let’s just say, they never disappoint. But we thought we’d mix things up a little and see what the online community had to show for itself.
Hence… Spotted D.I.Y.
Pretty self-explanatory, but I’ll explain a little anyway. All you have to do is be your super stylish self, make sure to include your most coveted Talbots item, take a few snaps, fill out some fantastic questions, and hit submit. We [Myself plus some very savvy people here at Talbots] will review the submissions, possibly over a glass of wine, and once a month we’ll dole out a $250 Talbots gift card to the person we think showed the best originality, creativity and flat out personal style. This is, and will always be, one of my favorite magazine covers ever. In the event that this is the first fashion blog you’re looking at today [in which case... I love you] I’ve got some big news. Linda Evangelista is the face of Talbots Fall ad campaign. Ohhhhh how I’d love to give you a sneak peak, but Ohhhhh how much trouble I’d get in. Besides, anticipation is a lovely thing! While you pass the time, some more gorge Linda shots. Blonde, brunette, red head… it doesn’t matter with a face like that.
